The Satvik Resort is founded by Pulak Ranjan Shukla, a yogi and a Vedic scholar since 1979'.

To assist us in therapeutic yoga we have in Yogacharya Shri. B.Vasudeva Raju, a highly dedicated and accomplished healer. He hails from the famous pilgrim town of Tirupati in South India. He has been drawn to The Satvik on a strong inspiration. His mission is to help people live healthy and free from diseases. The natural healing vibrations present at The Satvik, Bhimtal is a strong plus factor in this process. |

Shri B. Vasudeva Raju born on 3rd March 1954 was interested in yoga and spirituality since childhood. He did his masters in Materials Management from IIMM Bombay (Mumbai)
Having served twelve years in Fertilizer Industries, he took voluntary retirement to devote himself fully to spiritual pursuits in 1997.
His pursuits took him to the upper Himalayas, where he was guided by esteemed masters in advanced yogic kriyas. |

He conducted several yoga camps in and around Joshimath, near Badrinath Dham, before returning to his home town of Tirupati.
In early 2008, he had a vision that his services were needed in Himalayas. His strong intuition brought him to contact The Satvik’s founder, Shri Pulak Ranjan Shukla., who welcomed his services at The Satvik Resort, Bhimtal.

He has been teaching various yogic detoxifying cleansing techniques ( shadkarmas) like jal neti, trataka, sutra neti. Jala basti, dhauti kriya, and kunjal kriya.After the cleansing process he teaches pranayama, bandh, mudra, yogic postures and meditation to treat chronic diseases
