Cindy has been a hatha yoga teacher for over five years in California. She was here to understand and incorporate the classic hatha yoga as practiced in India along with understanding the relevance of yoga sutra of Patanjali as well as ethics of Hatha yoga.
Cindy now has a thorough knowledge of the ethics of Hatha yoga, Yama and Niyama. Further Cindy, knows the common points as well as differences in Hatha yoga terminology and that of Raja yoga as expounded by Patanjali.
Cindy has learnt as well as satisfactorily mastered our basic and intermediate to advanced classic hatha yoga postures and can teach the same to those enrolled in her class.
Cindy knows the Pancha Shrankhla, the five series of hatha yoga asana which cover the pranic flow everywhere within the body.
Cindy has also learnt pranayama techniques of anuloma viloma, nadi shodhana, kapal bhati, bhastrika Sheetali and bhramari
Cindy has learnt mantra chanting and can conduct mantra yoga sessions of ‘aum namaha shivai’
Cindy has practiced meditation and regulaly attended the agnihotra, fire ceremony.
