Rules to observed at Satvik Sadan
Though it should be obvious, there are certain rules observed at Satvik Sadan. We wish to enumerate them below for clarity.
- Tobacco, intoxicants/ alcohol are strictly prohibited for those staying at Satvik Sadan.
- Food is served on specific time. Breakfast at 8.30 a.m. Lunch at 1 p.m. and dinner at 7.30 p.m. Milk / tea/ herbal tea is provided in the morning and late afternoon. Seasonal fruits are provided at 3.p.m. The meals are vegetarian, prepared considering Ayurvedic principles
- The rooms do not have television, to help maintain peace and quite for the guests. There is a common tv in the reception.
- The main gates of Satvik Sadan close at seven p.m.. The guests are expected back by then, in case they have gone on some local trip.
- Usage of mobile and laptop should be done in such a way so as to maintain the peace of other residents.
- Proof of Identity must be brought by the guest.
- For propriety reasons, a lady can stay only if accompanied by a gentleman for the duration of her stay. The gentleman may or may not not be participating in the same plan.
